Okay, so it doesn't look like a fox but more like a wolf, but we call it Fox anyway.
We got the idea for him when we were sorting through my old magazines displaying stuffed animals.
So go get your stash of old magazines, and have fun sifting through them with your very own grandma's boy and make a fabulous fox together- or any other animals that he desires! This is a fun way for kids to learn planning, sewing, and cutting skills!

We need: black fleece
black felt
white felt
scissors
needle and thread
black marking pen
We begin by drawing our animal on a piece of paper and using this as a pattern.
Cut out two pieces of the animal.
Pin them right sides together, and sew them together with a 1/2 inch seam allowance. Leave open a 4 inch space so that you can turn it inside out and stuff it.

For the tail, cut a rectangle of fabric from the fleece. Fold it in half,. right sides together, and sew two sides together. Turn it inside out, so that the right side is outside. Stuff it from the open side, then sew it closed. Pin it to the back of the fox and sew it on.
After the fox is stuffed, cut out 3 triangles from white felt for the teeth and sew them to the bottom of the snout.
Cut out 2 triangles from the black felt and sew them next to each other on the top of the head for the ears
Cut out 2 ovals from white felt and point the ends so that the eyes will look shifty. These get sewn near the top of the head. Using a black marker draw black circles in the eye.
